I just helped a friend move all day long. She moved from the 5th floor to the 8th floor so it was a lot of carrying and back and forth in the elevator with nothing really in boxes.

I iz hurting.

But then she and her fiance took me to happy hour.

Today was . . . stressful. The person training me (although nice and very detailed) talks a mile a minute and I am trying to take notes but she talks too fast. I've asked her to slow down so I can take notes, but I think that annoys her.

And there are soooo many differences between CT and WA that my 10 years of legal office experience mean squat here.

I'm too tired to go to the gym but I know maybe I should just to burn off some of this stress.

6 weeks to decide

Stay here in Seattle all alone for another year

or

go home and be with my family and friends to live in my mother's basement forever and ever. Cuz I know if I go back, I ain't ever leaving again. All the siblings are married off and my parents are both in bad health.

That leaves me holding the bag and to pick up all the pieces. Like that's anything new.

I really want to avoid all that responsibility until I absolutely have to go back home to "take care of things".

That day is coming, and before it does I want to stay here and live *my* life before I have to go home to live everyone elses.

My advice? If work is okay, stay another year. Compared to where you were nine months ago, Seattle life should be a breeze this next year.

If work isn't okay, well, I hate to see you molder in the basement.

This is why I love downtown Seattle. Happy hour begins after a hard day at work and the alcohol flows until it's time to stumble home.

Thank goodness I do not have to wake up early tomorrow.

My co-workers really like to drink. We spent hours at Imo eating sushi, drinking, dancing and just having a good time. I haz stomach achy and fear that what I had for dinner . . . I will be having again for breakfast.
